Quick iMac G3 600Mhz RAM question

Just about to get a G3 600Mhz Graphite iMac.

Would like to put in another 512MB of RAM. The Ram it takes is 168-pin PC-100 SDRAM. Is any old ram I find on ebay or somewhere that fits this description ok or do I have to search for apple specific ram? I have read that PC133 is ok as well as SDRAM is backwards compatible. Is this correct?

Any one wanting to sell some can contact me if they like as well. Might post on the want to buy section soon.

Cheers,

Dean

Good quality PC100/PC133 SDRAM will work - PC133 is backwards compatible. Good brands to look out for would be Kingston, Apacer, Amicroe, or anything with Hyundai (Hynix) chips.
