hi there... just wondering if anyone knows is it possible to buy an extension for the apple monitors (30 inch and 20'') i am in the process of building a new house.. and have a video production business based in my home. for security, i wanted to put the mac pro CPU in a seperate secure room.. next to the room where the monitors will be. I would appreciate any input. thanks

The maximum length for a DVI cable is approximately 5 metres; DVI extension cables can be bought from places like Jaycar. A KVM for your mouse/keyboard/USB devices would also be useful here (even better - I wonder if you can get wall mountable sockets for this sort of thing?).

Yes i am getting an exhaust fan plus air con in the room. It is good at the moment in thehouse i am living in... the comptuer is keeping the room nice and warm!
