Hi all.

Have a look at the following link. Would be interested in hearing some thoughts on this with regard to the Mac Mini.

BTW, any Elgato experts out there? Is the EyeTV 410 any different to the 400. The specs looked identical to me.

I think the only real difference between the 2 is that the 400 only supports free-to-air digital tv, whilst the 410 has a card slot to allow you to access digital pay-tv broadcasts too. I believe the cards are exactly the same as the cards you slot into the foxtel set-top boxes, although streetwise, the cheapest supplier of the elgato products in oz does state:

"Elgato advertise the EyeTV 410 as being able to receive & record subscription (PayTV) television using Common Interface. This feature is not supported in Australia."
