Kyocera Recognition via Airport

got a printing recognition problem with a Kyocera FS-920.

my MacBook and one 12" G4 Powerbook (867mhz) pick up on it fine via Bonjour and Airport Express.

the other 12" PowerBook (1ghz) refuses to.

when one deletes then reinstalls the (latest & relevant) drivers, it sees the printer in the Printer Browser window, but then when you select it and the lower menu that says Print Using - Auto Select - which should then fill up with 'Kyocera FS-920 (KPDL)' (as do the other 2 machines) - instead it 'greys out' to 'Please select a driver or printer model' - which of course you can't .

this one's really got me stumped - especially as the PBook picks up on the Kyocera instantly when atteached via a usb cable.

anyone have any clues????

yes - obviously - which is why the other 2 machines are picking it up

I have a Kyocera FS-800 on my Airport network and I just use the generic driver and it works fine. Can you select any other drivers, or are they all greyed out?
