Hi guys,
To allow me to view my work emails from home (crazy concept, I know but allows me to stay at home longer) I have to download a certificate from our web server and install it on my home computer. That certificate is windows specific and does not guarantee it will work on mac. Well it does not. Hence i cannot open the secure page on my mac. Can do so on my home PC.
Recently in one of the update downloads there was something about windows certificates for mac that came thru. I hoped that I would be able to access thye web page since then but no luck.

I have installed the certificate in my keychain access. Have done a recent update on my os as well: 10.4.9

which keychain did you install it in? login,system or X509 Anchors?

Also when you view the cert in keychain is it listed as a trusted and have an icon that says "this certificate is valid"?

If not you need to double click on the certificate, scroll down to the bottom and expand the trust settings, and set "when using this certificate" to always trust
