I am just about to take delivery of my new mac and need some help.
On my current mac lies my iweb website, so the question is can someone guide me through the steps of transporting the website intact and read to go, from the old mac to the new one. Any help would be appreciated.

But... it's on the web, no? It's a web-site. It wouldn't matter where you ... accessed it from.

And as for photos and so forth, I assume they'd all be in your Users folder, in the Documents folder or the Pictures folder etc.

All you need to do is copy your Users folder from one Apple to the other, and after that, key in your Username and Password, to be Remembered by the new Apple's keychain.

... or have I over-simplified the situation?

you need to copy -> User/Library/Application Support/iWeb/domain

then replace it into the new mac...
