Can you fit a standard size DVD Burner into the MAC G5? Dual 1.8ghz model..

I did a search, found no info!

mac g5 tower will take standard dvd drives. there's even a how-to guide in the user manual. if you're running 10.4.9 then most will be natively supported for iApps.

You mean POWERMac G5? They both have Mac in it, and iMac is closer. Be specific

You mean you never slipped in a dual core? For shame hawker

Bottom line - be nice to people trying to help you, and be as specific as possible.

From memory I believe that the g5 tower owners manual actually has a guide for dvd replacement...if not check google, I'm sure you'll find a visual guide.

Hawker you are right some, but not all, drives need the front plate removed.
