Moving to Mac soon
1 simple question. Is there a website that can provide me the alternatives on a mac at a glance? freeware or real software im not phased.

Somthing like:

Nero-Toast
Utorrent-Trasmission
Newsgroups=?
Office-Office or pages or iwork


etc,etc, as i want to move everything over to my mac, i want to see what the alternatives there is out there,

Trasmission I gather has been banned on some trackers. There are quite a few torrent apps...somewhere like Versiontracker.com or Macupdate.com has a comprehensive list of applications and daily update info.

Newsgroups - I reckon Unison.

Transmission is not a uTorrent equivalent - it's pretty poor software. uTorrent is based on a stripped down version of Azureus, avaliable on OS X. Unfortunately, at this stage uTorrent is not.
