USB2.0 card for my Powermac G4 MDD?

Hey guys

I'm wondering if you can recomend a USB2.0 card that'll work with my powermac G4 1.25 MDD?

I'd like to add another 2 or 4 ports.

Cheers

Daniel

A lot of what was said in this thread will hopefully help:

which PCI USB 2.0 card?

I just recommend: http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProdu...duct_Id=125901

I am picking mine up from the AAE depo tomorrow, so I can let you know how that goes if you wish!

You got a VIA chipset card to work properly? Is it USB 2.0 only or USB 2.0/Firewire combo? Can you confirm that this was with this driver?

When I had a Quicksilver G4 800, I got one of those $10 VIA USB 2.0 cards and plonked it in and it worked fine with that driver you linked to
decryption is online now

It seems that VIA USB 2.0 only card does work then (Decryption and choco) and maybe only the VIA Firewire/USB 2.0 combo that doesn't (me and applecollector). I'd like to hear if anyone has ever got the combo card to work reliably (I couldn't-2 different cards).

Cheers.

I bought a USB 2.0 card from my local JB hifi (belkin?). Works perfectly - although I think it was around $30.
