Ordering my 24" Imac today

I'm ordering my 24" Imac.

Upgrading the RAM to 2gb and the 256mb Graphics Card.

Decided just to go with the 2.16 rather than the 2.33. (From what i've read, it's not a big improovment for the extra $300)

So, I'm not sure how long it is going to take to ship, anyone ordered one recently with similar upgrades? how long did it take?

Hopefully it's a wicked system! I've been using pc's for ages and got a 12" powerbook a couple of years ago as my mobile system and love it, so i've been wanting to upgrade for a while now.
I've got the money now, so thought i'd upgrade.

Anway, hopefully it's good! Should last me a while even if they bring out a new design imac soon.

The 24" is super sweet, I was playing with one the other day! You did the right upgrades re. ram and cards.... Processor I don't think is too much of an issue, anyway being Intel you can probably upgrade in the future anyway!

Since your config would be popular, I'd say it'd ship pretty soon!

Shouldn't take too long those are standard upgrades... as others have said this is a super primo choice and those upgrades are worth it. You will love this mac.

Loving it..

Had my 24 incher for a couple of weeks (thanks Kendals!).
Loving the experience so far.
Speed is great. The screen is the best I have ever used. The quietness is sublime. It is a smooth and seamless computing experience.
I have 2Gb RAM as well but the 128Mb graphics card as I do not do any high end rendering or gaming.
Just loaded Aperture and Lightroom and am assessing them for my photo editing and organising.
No regrets going for the bigger screen.
