Apple's next-generation iMacs to add a touch of grace

I know there is other threads on new iMac modes, but thought this new FORM factor is exciting.

The link to Appleinsider http://www.appleinsider.com/article.php?id=2582

Quote
"For Apple, the impending iMac makeover will represent the first major industrial design overhaul to hit its flagship all-in-one consumer desktop line in nearly three years." & "both slimmer and sleeker than today's offerings"

Though I am waiting for the Rev B iMac 24"
This would be a real bonus if it came with a new head turning design!

What does everyone think ?

And do you think this rumor is credible ?
The current design has been with us for three years now!

When touch (Multi-touch) finally makes it to the Mac, and it will, My guess, It'ld be the iMac first. I can see the delay in Leopard + iWork + iLife, being related if this does ring true...

I think this is credible! I think Apple are juicing up Mac Pros & iMacs for a Leopard release. Then the laptops/mini will come out later.

I've recently sold my G5 PowerMac with a view to getting a 24" iMac, so if they revise them, that would be great - but may wait for the Rev B version... saving for a holiday at the moment...

I wonder what Ive'y will come up with!

I reckon two things are very possible.

Some sort of silver or metallic look, aka PowerBooks circa '05 or... BLACK iMacs!

Think about it... people paid an extra $300 for black MacBook, imagine how much they'd pay for a black iMac!

Other than that, there's really not much you can do to it. Thinner, a curve here, an edge there... until they can make it float or put it on transparent plastic as thin as a sheet of paper, I think the form factor will remain pretty much the same.
