20" = $1599
23" = $2899
30" = $4899

...I still hesitate to buy one only because Apple do not have a zero dead pixel warranty. Most manufacturers don't, (Samsung does) but when I think of Apple, I think of quality, and a zero dead pixel warranty would attest to that....

Let not froget that new 2.3GHz XServes were also released.

The lack of pricing changes to the Powerbook and eMac lines confirms my suspicions of a revamp to these product lines at MWSF.

Also, is it just me or were there price drops among Apple's peripheral and input device range too?

Although I agree that changes could be imminent, PB and eMac prices were adjusted in Europe, according to this article http://www.macosxrumors.com/articles/2005/...rope-by-10%25/.

Ahhh, it's always nice when Apple stuff gets cheaper

And the iBook *has* gone down in price.
The 12" iBook was $1525 (EDU), now it's $1438. PowerBooks are the same though.

Also, Atomic, the price of the Apple Keyboard & Mouse have gone down.. they're $44 (EDU) each now. I remember it being a lot more if my memory serves me correctly.

We'll have a news post up soon as Disko gets to work :P

well considering the Aussie dollar has been hovering between $0.75USD and $0.80USD for quite some time, these price drops were expected as it was not comparible with their US pricing (taking into account taxes duty etc). I think due to the Apple price restructure AND the stong Aussie dollar, we were hit with a double whammy in price reductions...

No complaints here

Wireless keyboard & mouse seem to have dropped form $119 to $99 and wired from $85 to $50, Airport Express has dropped from $219 to $199, damn I bought mine over a month ago.

Good to see the price drops

I notice the top 17" iMac did not have the same reductions as the others - a supply/demand issue?

The displays are a lot more affordable, if only I had a Powerbook and not an iBook.

Now I have reason to get that 20" iMac for my wife (well for me mainly), once the update version is released.

Cheers...

Because we'll be seeing 1.6 or 1.7GHz powerbooks at Macworld in a few days.
