Default iPod and Vista now play nice - apparently

Hi all.

I know this will not be for everyone, but I thought some might like to know.

M$ has posted that they are pushing an update to Vista that will stop it from corrupting iPods when using iTunes.

Details here:

http://windowsvistablog.com/blogs/wi...ad-center.aspx

For those who it affects, it would be interesting to know if it works.

Good day to all.

Instead it will completely erase and re-format the hard drive to work with our top of the line media player coveniently titled Windows Media Player, and to top that off, it will also modify the iPods GUI to match classic windows, what you've always wanted.

Oh, and no, we are not kidding.

If you buy an iPod, we hope you die.

When I was using Vista, my iPod was working fine.

iTunes however, that's what made me switch back to XP.

The way I figure it is that if you've got an iPod, and you're using Windows at home, you'll be buying a Mac real soon. If you're using Windows at your workplace, it won't be Vista (IT hates them).

So where's the problem?
