Default Resetting Authorized computers.

Yes, I've done it again. I keep forgetting to de-authorize my iTunes before I re-image it. I hear there is a way to reset your authorized computers. Is this true, if so, please tell me how I do it.

Thanks in advance, Ricky.

apparently there is an option to reset this completely once a year. Itunes will prompt you when you reach five authorised computers.

As morgan notes, there is an option to de-authorise all your computers at once. You do this via the Account page from within iTunes (ie click on iTunes store, click your account name on the top right, enter your account password then click 'Deauthorize All').

That said, you should be able to reauthorise an existing computer even if you've reached your authorisation limit. I've been having some issues where iTunes crashes and forgets it's authorisations, even though the machine is still being counted in the list of authorised computers for the iTunes account and I'm at my limit of 5 machines. Re-authorising through iTunes always works successfully - I assume that iTunes is smart enough to realise that the machine is already on the authorised list.
