Default Ipod for windows on a Mac.............

Hi;
I want to know some information about ipod, can I update more than one ipod with my computer and can I use my existing iPod for Mac on a PC, or my iPod for Windows on a Mac? If any one knows about this reply me

hiya, welcome to the forums, if the ipod is formatted for windows, then it SHOULD work for osx and windows.

As mechon has already said, you can use a PC (FAT32) formatted iPod on a Mac, however a Mac formatted iPod won't work on a PC.

And yes, you can update more than one iPod on your computer.

Yes to all. You can plug you iPod into MAC or Windows. But, be aware, if you have auto sync on (to auto manage songs and movies) then you may wipe it by plugging it into another machine.

These setting are set in the iTunes software, so make sure they are set to manual on all machines before you plug in your iPod.

And yes, you can plug as many iPods into you machine as you want (1 at a time I think, not tried more that 1) and put music on it.

BTW.. officially, you cant take music off your iPod and put it on someone elses iPod/iTunes. There are 3rd party products out there that will allow you to do it, but you cant in iTunes.
