Unhappy How do I use Shuffle with a new computer?

I have recently moved out of the house, and away from the computer, that my iTunes library of music was on. I have an iPod Shuffle, so now that I have my own computer, iTunes says I have to erase everything and start again. But I don't want to have to redownload all those songs again.
How to I keep my current playlist, both from my CD collection and purchased, but be able to use the new computer? There has to be a way!

try senuti to rip the songs off the shuffle and into the new iTunes Library then authorise that library with your Itunes account so the purchased songs are playable and then associate the shuffle with the new library once you have all the songs in it...

Thank you The Architect, but I have a PC not a Mac. Does Senuti work with a PC too?

I believe ephPod is what you need for PC.
If you still have access to the old PC you could save your old library to DVD-R or an external hard disk to transfer to your new one...
