Question iPod - AM radio add on?

I've done a quick search on this and have come up with basically bugger all!

Is one available?
Why?
COZ IT'S FOOTY TIME!

I go to our eagles home game every fortnight and must have AM to listen to
the commentary whilst watching the game.
I do have a small AM radio but was thinking the other day about actually going mainstream and
purchasing an iPod for us.
Now if you could get an AM add on for it even better!

anyone have any info

this would be a good little earner if someone could produce such a thing if
it has not been done before.

cheers

To resurrect this thread, my mother asked me what an iPod was as she has contemplated getting one for my father...

The issue is he listens to AM radio - anyone have advice/knowledge of another easy to use mp3 player that has AM radio options (the iPod can have an FM remote?)

Seems like there are others with similar wants - random selection FYI:

...on possible/forthcoming options (no iPod add-on as yet) that i have come across in my search:

[I cam across references to the Sandisk Sans Express with AM/FM Radio in the UK (not AM in the US)]

My father can't even use a computer (my mother now has an iMac ) - hence the appeal of the iPod for ease of use and decent screen (for the eyes). Looks like a no-go, sadly...
