I recieved my shiny new iMac Core 2 Duo today.

I am so impressed. The screen is crystal clear and it looks great!

As for speed in general use I believe that it is faster than my DP 2.3 Ghz PM G5. The graphics card can only pull 62 fps in iTunes full screen visualiser compared to the G5's 72 but still.

I have already done the Boot Camp install and it worked seemlessly, of course. Currently transferring files and trying to remember all of the cool apps I had on the G5.

If there was any doubt that the move to Intel was a good thing then I am now a believer!
