I've got an LG rt-42pz45v Plasma Screen with 852x480 resolution.

Is there a way I can adjust the output on a mac Mini to put out this resolution?

I currently have a powerbook, and when I connect that as the primary monitor it distorts the picture making movie viewing difficult.

Any help would be appreciated.

How are you hooking the Mac Mini up? DVI, VGA or S-Video?

However, the big, big problem you will face in getting a decent picture is the serious lack of resolution of your plasma.

Anyway, try DisplayConfigX or SwitchResX and input the necessary resolution.

There might be some settings on your TV to help with the distortion too. Most widescreen TVs have some settings to choose if they stretch the picture or not.
