Bought this G4 466 Digital Audio for a friend and observed it has no Audio Input. Other than USB, does anyone know of a card (PCI, I suppose) that will provide access and will it work?

There is a 3.5mm socket, audio in (microphone icon), just under the audio out (headphone icon) at the top of the back panel. (having said that it may require one of those powered mono apple Plaintalk microphones). This article from Apple provides some vague information too.

Probably too good for what you're after, but RME make some brilliant PCI audio cards that have solid OS X drivers.

Kim, I think you are mistaken. I have just taken a long look at the unit and the top is a headphone jac which beneath it another 3.5mm jack but the icon is an odd little helmet shape with the same speaker semi circles as my Sawtooth. I read that as Speaker Out. Am I wrong? I am medicated today, so it would not be a stretch.
I will check out my archives. I am certain I saw a schematic in one of the manuals.

I did take a look and no doubt they are great cards (and so they should be for the price) but this is just a consideration for accessing Skype or some such.
Thanks though for the link and the thought.
