i am interested in buying any apple computer. I am interested in the Imac G4 mostly. ANything else is kool.

I am also interested in the Apple laptops.

If you have any apple computer / laptop which is in good condition, tell me and make me an offer. I'm looking for no sratches (or very little where you can't see anyway).

If you have a Imac G4 i'm looking to spend $1000 for the lowest standard model. for a mid model $1200. Top model $1500??

but send me a message and make me a offer.

Not too sure about buying old computers, but will the previous owner need to transfer the ownership licence?? I would imagine the warranity would be void but i'm not too worried. How about solftware that came with the computer??

Well if you are in the market for a new mac, check out the emac.

I purchased one two weeks ago from the nextbyte firesale. Cost me $1245
for a G4 1.25 gig , 512mb ram , 160 gig hd with bluetooth module. I am not sure
if they have any more of that spec for that price.

It will certainly hold its own against the imac g4's

I am very happy with it , it also includes 2 years apple care.

Just my 2 cents

*edit I am sure a tard when I haven't had enough coffee

You've lost me with that edit totally. Tried turning it into a word that fits the context without success. The only thing that worked: turd does not work in a post that is essentially informative and helpful. Have another coffee maybe

EDIT: belatedly checked out the urban dictionary and got a definition. In context it still does not work

cheers, kim

Nice price on the emac BTW. Some people actually still prefer CRT's (the ones who are not footprint nazis that is) TFT's are great but not for everyone. Lets face it when was the last time you saw a CRT with bright, sticky or dead pixels?? (I'm not sure what would be more annoying. Dead vs bright vs sticky pixels) I'll get one when they either become reliable or you can get software that can selectively activate/deactivate the bright/sticky pixels according to the status of those surrounding it/them
PS (Before someone dives in and tells me you CAN'T get sticky pixels on a CRT; I did know that)

In case your wondering why i want all these computers heres why.

I currently have a Imac G5 for all my main uses.

I want a powerbook for on the road working.

The cube for presentations at conferences to show off my creations.

The Imac G4 for presentations also.

I did want a G4 or G3 tower but there too big, fat and heavy.

i am extremely fussy with thickness of a laptop. The new powerbooks are 1.2inchs which is too me fat. I will not buy any laptop which is greater than 1 inch.

The only apple laptop which is 1 inch is the last model the Ti or something.

I think i should just stick around, there is bound to be a powerbook G5. If there is one i wont bother getting the Cube, Imac G4 and Powerbook G4.

I will just have my Imac G5 and Powerbook G5.

I'm right, right? APple is making a Powerbook G5 right?? It only makes sense. I dream of a 1cm apple laptop.
