Hi All

Very excited I rang Apple on Weds who said they have 8 arrving as the same config as mine and that I was first in line to receive an order...and today the Apple site stated that it had shipped today...so hopefully on Monday will be delivered!

Can't wait to get my hands on it...and polish up my G4 cube for selling

Cheers
Zara

Enjoy!

I was in my local Apple Centre yesterday and they had a pallet (about 20 odd) to eager customers, apparently they can barely get them fast enough at the moment.

We look forward to the reviews.

Hi All

Well it arrived yesterday, although I am sick with the flu, I looked at the box for a few hours and decided to drag my sorry butt out of bed and get it set up.

Very easy to do the transfer from my cube, except for the fact that I did not plug the power cord in properly so when I unpluged the firewire cable I knocked it, and disconnected the power to the iMac - so had to start again - but apart from that smooth sailing.

I have not spent much time on it due to being sick, but the other half was very pleased with the results on X-Plane and iMovie (quicker).

Very slight noise from the unit, but not as noisy as my cube was before I changed the HDD.

Cheers
Zara

PS sorry the pic is a bit dark

hooray!! Looks great.

I setup a 17" iMac for a friend of mine. The more you use them, the more you like them.
