Hello,

I just got an eMac 700Mhz and when i turn it on it beeps 3x and then the light just flashes.
Whats wrong with it and how can i fix it?

I'm online so i'll keep refreshing this page and i need to know very quickly!!

PS: no power is going to the keyboard and mouse!

I dont wanna state the obvious but have you checked the ram is seated correctly - if you just got it perhaps it has moved in transit??

Possiably i just installed some ram but i just took one stick out (i have 2x 256) and now i've put 1x 256 133 ram in and i've got the originial in but it's still happening.I'll try to leave the originial in and i'll post bak to tell you what happens

Ok found out the issue was with the ram!
Shit!
Now i need to buy new ram :-(

only the originial stick works!!

That Ram worked in my G4 powermacs.

It's kool i've just got an iMac 500Mhz and take same ram so i'll put it in that.
But now i'm serisouly in need of some 256 or 512 ram.
I've just made a WB ad.
So hopefully i can get some soon.

perhaps the ram has had a static charge or similar damage it. sd 133 should be cheap enough
