Hi guys
My 20" iMac seems to be slow all day at doing whatever I want to. It's more than 100gigs free space and is running on 1.5GB Ram. What do i need to do to make it faster? is there any software to speed up tasks??? Help....

A piece of software that will run maintenance scripts though is called "Onyx" and is freeware.

press cmd-tab (apple-tab). How many apps have you got open?

Are you a recent switcher from windows? if so, when you close a window it doesent necessarily mean you are closing an app. Even with 1.5gb ram it'll still slow right down with loads of apps open.
