I have an emac 1.25, pretty standard, except it has 2x512mb ram to give it 1gb total. When I bought the ram I toyed with the idea of buying 2x1gb for a total of 2gb, but I was told that the emac would only address the first 1gb and ignore the rest. Last weekend, I was at a house where there was a emac 1mhz running 2gb of ram, apparently successfully. Dos anyone have any experience with extra ram in an emac? Or a powermac 733 (max 1.5gb ram in 3 slots)?
