I've got a weird problem with the mac mini.

If I have a powered usb hug plugged into the mac mini, it'll shut down to the point where the screen goes to black but the fans spin up to max and the white light on the front stays on until I unplug the usb hub from the mac mini.

Any ideas of what's causing this?

do you have anything plugged into the hub? OK, stupid question, why else would you have the hub.

Try having just the hub plugged in (no devices) to see if it's the hub or the devices. If it's the hub, I'd probably replace it if the usual maintenance things don't solve the problem.

If the problem goes away with just the hub, add the other peripherals back one by one until you nail the culperate.
