new macs are all DVI, adc is dead and buried. Just check the back of your powermac and see if it has two DVI ports. (it should)

Thats weird. I've got the dual 2.7 which was released at the same time. It has a 9650 with 2x DVI.

similar to http://forums.appletalk.com.au/index.php?s...=0&#entry130375 i guess?
I need to find a converter to turn the roundish ADC one so i can plug that into a current/new mac. Im told the new macs dont power up monitors on their own, correct?

Original 2.5 duals which had 9600's had ADC and DVI. But yes, I used to use an adaptor I just sold to run a second monitor with no issues. ADC is more or less DVI with power anyway.

you can get a ADC-DVI convertor, there pretty cheap, (dont get it confused with a DVI-ADC convertor, which is very expensive)

Easily. The card has 64mb VRAM, which is a bit low - ie: opening a lot of windows at the same time will fill the RAM. There are utilities you can download that show the VRAM usage.
