Hi everyone...

Is 30gig HDD enough in the 12" iBook? Just using it for internet, emails, office and some pics from digital camera.

Is bluetooth required/important to have?

it depends on how many photos you have.

My policy is you can never have enough HD space. But yeah, i its just simple usage with few thousand photos, you should be fine.

As far as bluetooth goes, it depends on if you need it. Do you have a bluetooth phone? If you don't know what bluetooth is, then chances are you dont need it.

30GB is plenty
Just remember to back up those photos to a CD, because if/when your computer stuffs up, and they go, you *will* miss them and you won't be able to get them back!

Although 30GB is fine, a build-to-order upgrade is a 40GB disk, which is (from memory) about $40 extra. I got this with my iBook, and think it is worth the $$$.

I wouldn't worry about Bluetooth. You might benefit from upgrading to a AirPort card though.

Will be getting the airport card and also some extra ram.

Well, that depends on if you beleive in murphy's law or not.

If you take the precaution, it'll probably waste your money, but if you don't you're ibook will probably crap itself 366 days from purchase. :P
