I have a iMac G5.. and every 45 minutes or something it looses its network connection. Now, my iBook which is connected to my router via wireless never drops out.

And its not just internet which borks on the iMac.. the whole ethernet drops for a moment and then comes back as my iTunes streaming to my Airports stops.

Anyone have any idea where to start here?

Daniel.

is it dropping wireless, or wired?
if it's wired, swap the iBook and iMacs ports around.. see if it happens to the iBook

Try a different port on the router?
Try a different ethernet cable?
