Delay? What delay? You mean the normal "they will ship in one week (which means 2 months)" delay?
I ordered mine the morning they were announced and I hope it gets here soon - this G4 is getting REALLY flakey...

i think that the ipod with video and the new imacs, and all the other things that were released on the 12th of october should be here tomorow for the release of ITMS AU.
how do i know its ITMS? well our national tv stations will be selling episodes of their shows (e.g. home and away and neighbours) on ITMS.
this is just what i think, they dont want to sell any ipod video's here until they can sell videos here. (which will be tomorow i hope). p.s. ive noticed the shipping date hasnt changed since the day it was released here, but the ipod nano was available afew days after its release in stores.

Its unlikely Home and Away and Neighbors will be offered as video. thats 2 1/2 hours per week of programming, and expensive option.
Next year we may get Desperate and Lost, but it wont be til after they are shown on Seven.
i have now been told the 20" imacs could be 3 weeks away yet.

finished uni... must have iMac G5...
So how long once the customs snafu clears up is it normally from ship --> Perth reseller? A week? Feel like I'm being bitten by supporting my local reseller when I could have bought online with free shipping.

3 weeks?
The store is still saying 7-10 days (as it has been for a few weeks now)... Surely we shouldn't have to wait 3 week?

if it makes you feel any better, I've heard even staff at Apple AU are not allowed to purchase iMacs until more supplies appear!!
