Default Cheapest place to get Parallels 5?

I've been using VirtualBox for most of my Wind0ze needs. And it runs very well.

But there are a few hardware compatibility issues that mean I need something like Parallels.

I know I can purchase direct from the developer, but I thought I would ask. Does anyone know of cheap place to purchase this from?

NB: I think $119.95 from Streetwise is a ridiculous price to pay for something I don't use all the time.

I also have noted that VMWare Fusion 3 can be had for $39 odd direct from VMWare for an education discount (I'm enrolled at Deakin Uni).

I bought Parallels this week too. This link: Parallels Desktop 5 for Mac has the software direct from Parallels for US$69.99. I paid for it in US Dollars rather than AUD (not that I think you get a choice with that link) since the rate they convert to AUD means you pay about 10% more than letting your own bank do the conversion and charge you 1% :P

I also stumbled on this link today while looking up the link above: Parallels Desktop 5

They have it for $39.99, although I'm just a fraction more comfortable buying from the maker themselves...

I am keen on buying it thru the link you found but I cannot find any independant reviews or testimonials on the net about that company.

Anyone here bought through them before that can vouch for this company.

The prices are outrageously good for legit licences eg Photoshop CS4 Mac $119.95

I am wary on using them, on the internet if something seems too good to be true i generally is a scam.

That site looks really sus. Look at the Apple software pricing. Some are $1000 off. I wouldn't trust that at all.

Edit: a quick search brings up a heap of blogspam. I wouldn't go anywhere near them.
