Default iTunes account thinks I'm in US!?

I just noticed this but in the apps section on my iPhone it has all the US prices. I am using PayPal but wasn't aware that I created an account in the US . The weird thing is I can also use my iTunes gift cards bought from JB HiFi for the US account. Anyone else had this happen to them?

?? You must have created a US account. Since you can't use paypal with AUS accounts.
