Default Accessing the /var location

Okay, dudes.

I need to put a file into the /var...

Is there a way to open this location in Finder?

I know nothing about Unix. What's the best way to do this?

There's an alias to var at the root of the volume, so you can just type /var and you will get it.

Is the OP aware that var is read only and that this is because it is not meant meant to be modified by casual users? Make sure you know what you're doing before you put something in there.
