Default Quickly adding comments/tags to songs in iTunes

With any luck I'll soon be hosting a radio show on a community radio station in Sydney. I get to choose all the music I play, so for the first time ever I'm taking an interest in rating my music on iTunes.

What I'd love to be able to do is quickly apply comments/tags to songs so I have a permanent reference. Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can do this without going through the menu manually?

A keyboard shortcut or sidebar would be the best case scenario.

I tried GUI scripting a solution but I can only get as far as opening the "Get Info" window with my limited knowledge.

Any suggestions would be a great help. Cheers!

EDIT: This seems like it might do the job.

Or you could bring up the Info window with command-I (there's your shortcut ), select the Info tab and enter comments/tags in the Comments field. Then, instead of closing the window and reopening it for the next song, you use the Next and Previous buttons at the bottom to step through your music library.

Cheers
Steffen.

I'm aware of command-I. Thanks anyway.

Well, you mention it's to rate the tracks so if that's what you're primarily concerned with it kinda sounds like I Love Stars might be what you're after. It won't do any notes or tags though.
