Default Stopping Gmail automatically adding contacts

Hi Guys,

I currently use Gmail, Address Book, and the iPhone's Contacts to sync my contacts together. I set up Address Book on my MBP to sync contacts with Gmail, and then I plug my iPhone in to the Mac to sync with Address Book via iTunes.

When I email people that aren't on my list, Gmail will add them to my All Contacts list, which is good, because it doesn't add them to My Contacts (it keeps a separate list of Suggested Contacts).

The problem is that when Address Book syncs with Gmail, it syncs with the All Contacts list, rather than the My Contacts list, and I therefore get all these random emails on my MBP and iPhone - things like sales@blablabla.com.

Kind of annoying. Anyone know of a workaround?
