Default desktop backround question

hey, i took some snazzy shots with the inbuilt panorama maker in my digital camera and wanted to set them as my desktop backround.

But when i go into the desktop changer preferences it doesn't show the whole picture just the middle section, ive tried changing the stretch to fill, tile etc setting but nothing seems to be able to show the whole thing in a kind of widescreen view i was going for.

any suggestions?????????????????
