Have you had a look through Mac OS X Software Updates and Mac OS X Downloads - VersionTracker or MacUpdate: Apple Macintosh Software & Game Downloads for trading software? That's where most of us start off looking for software.

Most of the softwares are overseas. I want local softwares only because they have a better grasp of OUR market

ShareManager 4.1

Deals specifically with ASX listed stocks, dividends, tax credits, and capital gains tax liabilities within the Australian law.

ShoeBox

Catch here is, it's not any sort of downloadable software. It's all happening Online, and the user is paying someone else to enter the requested data. Works best with latest Firefox and Omniweb.

Manage Invest

Same Q posed in early 2007 right here on MacTalk.

Memo: Because Leopard is such a new OS, many Developers haven't gotten round to creating specific software for it, hence the ability to use Boot Camp or Parallels or VMware Fusion to run Windows XP or Vista etc - straight on an Apple Mac at the same blistering Apple Mac speeds, is certainly a bonus.

if you want to do charting analysis, have a look at Prota ProTA: Mac OS X Stock Market Charting and Technical Analysis Software
I have been using it with ASX stocks for quite some time

Exclamation Trading Software for Macs

Hi
I have just purchased a Macbook Pro. I trade the US stock market using charting software called Esignal. Unfortunately Mac does not support this software or my trading platform Strategy Runner. my question is how well does Fusion or Parallel run PC programs? will I lose much speed? Do I need to install anti virus software to protect my mac when running PC programs???
Thanks

Have a look at this article for more info on running parallels vs fusion.

If you're running windows (even on a mac) you should protect yourself as you would on a window machine.

Oh and....welcome to the forums.

Thanks Mac Ram.
Does anyone know what sort of loss in performance I can expect running either parallels or Fusion on a mac book pro with 2 gig of ram and 2.4 processor??
