Default Ken Burns Issue in iMovie HD 6
When I import a photo into iMovie it looks fine. When I add the Ken Burns effect the photo gets letter boxed top and bottom (and the photo itself gets squished, looses correct aspect ration). This only happens if I'm working in DV widescreen, 720p or 1080i. 4:3 is fine.

Any ideas?

Ive had the same thing since upgrading to Leopard, so ive had to move the file to a Tiger machine and add photos on there. I dont know of any fix, its been documented alot on the web since Leopards release

Default Turning Ken Burns effect off in imovie
I don't want the ken burns effect in imovie. I have a truckload of tightly edited stills and it looks disgusting. I just want to get rid of it. Can?

just click on the 'crop' looking icon between the microphone and the speaker in the centre of the pains - that will open the selected images in the right hand pane - from there you can choose Ken, crop or fit!

As for Ken in DV wide screen - sorry can't help there.
