Just received my 3rd replacement 27" i5 imac today

Its not always bad news !

Week 5 imac Results : Personally i cant detect any yellowing.(if there is its very very slight)

It has a seagate 1tb which at first worried me about noise but its silent.

I-sight has NO dead pixels at all.

Temperatures all around the 50 deg mark

No dead pixels on screen

No high pitched noisy screen

No defects that i can find at all everything seems to be in good shape im a happy camper at last.

Looks all OK to me,What is your serials first 4 digits?How can you tell what HD is inside?Should be fine now..

mines a W8005

To check what hdd u have go into disk utilities and look at the first digits if it starts with st its seagate if it starts with wd its western digital

Yeah it doesn't matter mines fine quiet as a whisper.

I got a week 5 21.5" last week (number 6 for me). It had the yellow tinge. It's good to see maybe the 27" iMacs are fixed, lets hope they can do something about the 21.5".
