I will NOT get excited - but we have a tracking number! Trying to work out the build - not sure if it's 8045 or 8108!!! In Shanghai atm!!!!!!

OMG! It's been 4 weeks but finally it says something different in my order status... "Prepared for Shipment"
I'm not sure why they bother having an update for this but im happy!

I checked Last night after seeing Whimsical made some progress but it was still "not yet shipped but after seeing yours Mic 996 I thought I would Check again and POW
Prepared for shipment

I was checking 2 times a day now I will obsess and check even more

Well last year it was the first two numbers - from memory ours was 51 - which represented week 51 - but this time it starts with an 8 so perhaps they are using a Chinese year configuration!!!
atm I am so peeved off - have just rung TNT to see why the status hasn't changed in two days - they are completely confused as well and have fired off emails to Apple and TNT in Perth to try and find out what is happening! Personally I think it's one big smoke screen and the computer isn't at the airport at all - they are just trying to keep me quiet for another few days!!! October to Feb is a helluva long time to wait for a computer that works!

The latest update from calling Myer today, my stock i5 (ordered 18th November) is expected to be delivered by Apple to Myer central warehouse on 27th Feb. Myer is giving $100 off any computer accessory (including Apple) at time of pickup to people who ordered before Jan as compensation, at least its something. Oh well, another month to wait and hope Apple don't push it back again.

You could try this site and see if you can track it. Home - CEVA Logistics.

I ordered my i7 from DJs on Jan 12 and was told 3 to 4 weeks, so maybe it's in the same batch as yours ?.

Yeah its weird, mine says shipped via Eagle Asia Pacific Holdings too.
Can't find any info on them really.
Why cant they just ship via EMS to your door or something.
If anyone finds out how to track them please let me know.

Mine's in Sydney atm. Who gave you the tracking number? Apple gave me mine and said it would be coming via TNT - I thought all Apple direct came via that. If you have a tracking number have you tried putting it into the Apple online site?

Mine has arrived at long last today. All unpacked - glass OK - just downloading 350 Mb of software updates - all seems OK atm but - will leave the final verdict for a few days!!!!

I called Djs to see if it was sitting in there delivery bay but the they don't know anything. they said they would give me a call tomorrow.

Anyone else received their iMac's yet?
Mine was shipped last tuesday and i'm trying to figure out when it will arrive here in Melbourne going by how long it took for other people once it was shipped.
Still cant manage to track it at all.

Mine shipped on Tue the 9th and I have been told by DJ's that it will be here this week.

Well this week is slowly passing by and I am watching my phone waiting for it to ring.

the suspense is killing me.

if any one who's Imac shipped on the 9th gets it let us know

Just called DJ's to see if it is sitting there and its not.
He told me that if it dose not turn up tomorrow it will not arrive till next week as they don't get deliveries on Fri, Sat and Sun
