Default Mac Pro Prototype or Hackintosh in a Mac Pro Case

PROTOTYPE Mac Pro 8-core *Unique Treasure* - eBay (item 110404252439 end time Jul-18-09 11:02:28 PDT)

What do you guys think? Is this a genuine Mac Pro prototype, or is it a Hackintosh in a Mac Pro case?

I have my doubts I think it's a hackintosh. (And from some points of view that's not a bad thing).

Looks legit to me. I know of no commercially available motherboards that use FB-DIMM riser cards.

The intel developer kits were pretty hackintosh like...more so than this thing (basically a mobo in a big empty case)

It's probably real. The hdd trays in Mac Pro's are pretty unique and it looks like the trays line up with headers on the motherboard. Also the board fills the case fairly neatly.

The mac pro's were all dual cualcores (i.e. 4 cores) but were easily upgradable to the 4 core CPU's when Intel released them. Entirely possible this was CPU upgraded at that time.
